This is Santa’s 100% Guaranteed-Fun Family Instructions

  1. Instructions:

The key to this chat is Santa’s 100% guaranteed formula for fun.

Please read carefully, answer all questions and follow all the steps in the instructions.

Booking your chat starts a magical process:

    1. If this is a gift click here.

    2. Choose a date and time that works for you. As part of the ordering process you will complete:

    3. You will also receive:

      • Santa’s Tips for a Magical Chat - It is for all adults to read, so that you can help make this a fantastic visit for everyone. Santa says “Make sure you read all these tips in advance so you can stay on Santa’s Nice List.” Please read it.

    4. The day before the call, the elves send an email reminder ( including another copy of the tips). This is so it’s near the top of your inbox. But those clever elves are not done yet. They’ll also send you the Zoom link so you can distribute it as required (see warning in tips). (Note: you do not need to install Zoom to take the call; however, it may help to familiarize yourself with Zoom in advance.)

    5. Finally, the big day is here. Get everyone ready (see tips) for the call. Click the link in the email you received the day before. Note that if you log in early, you will have to wait in the waiting room. Santa will admit you to the call at the appropriate time and the fun begins!

SANTA’S TIPS FOR A MAGICAL CHAT

As the organizer of the chat, make sure that you and everyone else at your end are familiar with the following tips. That way, you stay on the Nice list too. This list will be sent to you with the Zoom link, just before the chat.

  • Make sure you have access to Zoom and have stable internet/WIFI.

  • Santa knows the wee ones can get nervous…Get ready early, and make sure the little ones have already visited the powder room.

  • Be on time for the call. If you are late, it will reduce your time, due to Santa’s busy schedule. Better to click on the Zoom link a minute early to build the anticipation than a minute late and lose some of your time.

  • Have at least one parent present. This is a family event. If there is more than one child involved, Santa wants to be fair, so each child has an equal chance to visit with him. You may need to help Santa manage the time and, who knows, Santa may have some questions for grown-ups too.

  • Consider inviting some friends and family, both near and far to be part of the chat. You don’t have to be at the same location, as Zoom permits multiple participants. It’s a great way to be together when you can’t gather in person. Feel free to forward the link but remember that you all should be on the Zoom call before the elves turn Santa’s screen on.

  • However, please be warned: the wider the link is distributed, the more the chat becomes vulnerable to HACKING. Share only with those you can trust.

  • Note that should you have more than one device open in the same room on the chat there will be a distracting echo. Please mute all devices except the device being used buy the children.

A Reminder to the Adults:

If you don’t read over the Tips before the call, Santa can’t guarantee he can make the magic work, and the call won’t be as special for the kids as it should. Please have all the adults review the tips.

Sincerely,

S. Claus
